Well the summer sure came and went quickly! Now it is back to work for the children. We are pleased to welcome 2 new teachers to our staff; Patty comes to us with loads of experience and education, not to mention a kind heart to share with the preschoolers. Crystal will be heading up our Intermediate room and has great experience and education; the children have really taken to her.
September is an exciting time, children are moving to new classrooms and teachers are planning fun activities for the winter months.
- September 21st is school picture day. We will start around 9:00. If your child does not usually attend on Wednesday you are welcome to bring them and stay with them, we will try to get you through quickly
- So sorry about the construction. We have spoken to the foreman for the job and he assures us that he will keep a lane open for parents to enter and exit as well as having flaggers to help.
- Thank you to all of you who have returned your paperwork and registration fee. I will be sending reminders home to those of you who may still be short on some items.
- We are scheduled for a final inspection on the new toddler room on the 19th so we can open it that day. It has turned out to be a lot longer process than first believed. Thank you for your patience.
Infants Melanie and Vie
September is here and with it a new school year. We have a couple of babies moving into Infant 2 classroom. This month’s songs are “10 little monkeys” and “Twinkle twinkle little star”. This month’s signs will be milk, more and all done. We look forward to a fun year full of playing and learning.
Infant 2 Sarah and Paula
Welcome to September! Eliza, Teddy, Indie, and Ellie, Alice and Pierce will all be leaving us to go to the new young toddler room. We will miss you all!! We welcome Emmitt, Adrian and Harlan to the baby 2 world. Ben is doing well and starting to walk along shelves. They grow so fast.
Our colors this month are yellow, red green orange and brown. We have some fun art activities planned this month. We will continue to review our signs “eat and more” and learn a few new ones as well.
New Toddler room Gladys
Hi! I am so excited to get a fresh new start on the school year in the new toddler room. I want to welcome everyone and hope I meet all your expectations. I’m sure we will grow together and learn many new things. As we start the fall season, we will be observing how our weather changes and how the beautiful leaves change color. Our activities will be around fall, as well as getting to know our new space.
Toddlers Christie & Vie
Welcome to the new school year We will be working on All About Me. Fall social emotional concepts will be Gentle touches, and our class rules. It is that time of year so please make sure your little one has a jacket or sweater. Enjoy September.
Intermediate Crystal
Hi, my name is Miss Crystal the new intermediate teacher. I am excited to get to know your child. This month we will spend time working on learning our 3 rules and the classroom routine. The theme will be Back to School and All about me. If you haven’t brought in a photo of your child, please do so for our all about me rainbow.
Wednesdays will be our show and tell day.
Preschool Patty
Welcome to September. I am happy to be on board with all my new friends and new classroom. September will be a fun month filled with getting to know each other and welcome in a new school year and lots of new friends. We will continue to spend as much time outdoors as we can so remember those jackets for when the days are chilly.
Pre-Kindergarten Pimporn & Miranda
Welcome families to a year which promises to be full of fun, friendships, learning and growth. We are excited to begin our pre-K year with new adventures and ideas. We will be spending the month of September focusing on family, friends, learning all about the classroom environment and most of all becoming comfortable in the classroom setting. We have lots of new friends Welcome Madelyn, Christian, Annaleah, Payton, Theo, Isaac, Ammarae and Mykai who have moved up from the preschool. We are so excited to have new friends join our class. Annaleah will turn 4 on the 6th and Mykai will turn 4 on the 7th. Families are welcome to bring treats to celebrate the special day.
