October Newsletter
From Lana
Fall is officially here and the new school year is underway. The children are enjoying getting back to the structure of their day. We may be moving children up to the next level of learning classrooms as we see how they are blossoming. Since the weather is still good we will still spend as much time outside as we are able to, remember those jackets.
We will be starting the winter menu this month. If you need a copy of the menu please feel free to ask. It will also be posted on the parent board.
–Have you completed the re registration process for fall? If not now is the time this must be done. This involves *paying the registration fee, *sending the supplies on the list * completing the emergency form and physical form that was sent out in August. I must have this complete at this time.

October is here and this month is all about safety. We will also have a visit from a fire truck. With the weather changing we ask that you bring in warm clothes for your child’s extra clothes bin. Please label all clothes and jackets with your child’s name. It is a new month we ask that all families bring in 2 packages of wipes for the month. Have a great month.
Intermediates Ms Moya and Ms Lindsey (Welcome!!)
Welcome autumn. The children have had a great time getting to know their new classroom. We have been reviewing our rules and daily schedule as well as starting name recognition. This month we will learn about stranger danger and what to do in a fire situation. We will also learn the colors of traffic light and what each one means. Everyone is doing great going potty but please send extra clothes just in case.
Preschool Ms. Krista and Mr. Gavin
Welcome to October, already! The children are settling into their new classrooms nicely. They are having a lot of fun singing our “days of the week song” and “month songs”. I am very impressed at how well they are doing at learning their ABCs in sign language as well as a few simple signs. We will continue to introduce a new sign each week and then review.
The theme for October is safety and independence. We will talk about fire safety, outdoor, and stranger safety. We will also discuss how we can be helpful to others and do things all by ourselves. Remember jackets, labeled with your child’s name, we will still be going outside all that we can.
Pre K Ms. Andrea
October is here! And with that comes cooler weather and Safety Awareness. We will be discussing fire safety and stranger danger along with our feelings and what it means to be scared or safe. Our discussions will be conveyed through the means of puppets, fairy tales, and songs.
We love our outside time so remember to bring a light jacket or coat.
