November Newsletter
From Krista:
We can’t believe it’s November already! These kids are growing in so many ways. Thank you for the opportunity to let us be a part of it! November is a time to remember what is dearest to us all; a time to remember, we all have much to be thankful for; a time for good friends and family. What do you have to be thankful for? Add it to the thankful chalk tree by Amy’s office!
Please join us November 22nd for our 4th annual Family Feast from 11:15-12:15pm. This will be for toddlers and up. Use this link to sign up and tell us how many people will be attending. The food will be provided by Steele School.
This is a popular time for families to take vacation, please make sure you let Amy or Krista know. Email is the best way to communicate this.
Please remember to bring a jacket, hat, and gloves every day. We try to get the kids outside every day for at least 10 minutes to run. We do not keep children inside, if all the class is going outside.

This month everyone is moving along. Annalise is crawling everywhere and pulling herself up. Otis and Ellie are starting to roll over and working on sitting up. Oliver is trying hard to crawl and sit up. We had to say goodbye to Marlowe who moved up to Infant II and a big hello to Sierra who started at the end of October. Thanksgiving is a special time to count our little blessings and enjoy it with loved ones. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Until next month…

Welcome to November! Our babies are growing up so fast… They all need to stop it!! 😉 This month is about Giving Thanks and Family. If you don’t have a family picture posted on our wall, please bring one in!!
Ryla and Abigail are full time walkers now!! They’re so excited that they have figured this new milestone out 🙂 Maggie and Kennedy are all over the place now, now that they figured out to crawl instead of army crawl. They love pulling themselves up on anything they can find. Charles is doing great he loves playing with all his friends and loves to slip out of the big window! Welcome Marlowe to our room! She is moving all over the place, and making new friends. She fits right in!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Fall is finally here. The weather is getting colder. Please make sure your child has a coat, hat, gloves, etc. with their name on them. We still try to go outside and get fresh air when we can. This month we will be working on playing together and helping each other. We will be talking about our family and friends. If you have any pictures that you would like to bring in and share with us that would be great! Our signs this month will be family and thank-you. We will still be working on our fall colors. Happy Thanksgiving!

Family, friends, and food- Can’t get much better than that! This will be our theme for the month. We will be focusing on our sign for Thank-you and our colors of fall. We would greatly appreciate a current family picture. They are a useful learning tool as we learn about the meaning of family. Veteran’s Day is November 11th, please remember to thank a vet for their service and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, so we can be a free and great nation!
May your month be blessed with great food, friends, and family!

Happy Fall!
For the month of November, we will continue to look and explore the wonders of fall. We will learn about Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful for what we have. We will continue to learn our shapes and numbers along with our ABC’s. Please remember it is getting chilly out so please dress your child warm and provide warm extra cloths if you haven’t already. Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s hard to believe that we are already to the month of November. For the month of November our class will be exploring what happens when the seasons change from Fall to Winter, and how our clothing changes along with it. Our class will also be exploring how “My Family” celebrates Thanksgiving. Enjoy this wonderful month!

I can’t believe how fast this month has gone! The kids have really enjoyed all the Halloween crafts and activities! Thank you to everyone that signed up to help with our Halloween party!
The kids are doing so good with the letter of the week! It’s so fun to see what everyone has come up with for that week’s letter for show and tell!! I have seen some creative stuff!! We are really working on recognition of letters and numbers.
In November we will be learning about what it means to be thankful, and kind. We are doing a cornucopia of kindness bulletin board, and the kids will be able to earn fruit and vegetables to put in our class cornucopia!
As always if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

We cannot believe October flew by so fast and here we are in November, another month with many learning activities. Our themes for the month of November include Native American, Thanksgiving, Food and Nutrition. We will be focusing on learning about the letter Ff, Gg, Hi and Ii. We encourage you to reinforce these concepts at home; as it will help your child pick up on all that we are learning. we have continued to work on writing our names and we ask that when practicing with your child at home that you encourage them to only use a capital letter for the first letter in their name.
Reminder: The weather in the fall fluctuates, with chilly morning and warmer afternoon. It is a good idea to send your child to school with a jacket, hat, and gloves for chilly weather. Thank you so much. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
