November Newsletter
From Lana
Well November already, soon the holidays will be upon us. Some dates to remember:
November 25, 26, and 27, 2015 We will be closed for Thanksgiving. We hope you all have an opportunity to spend some time with family. We here at Steele School are thankful for all our wonderful families and precious children. I have to say I am personally so thankful for having one of the finest staffs I have ever been blessed with. These teachers really do believe in what they are doing, and have a genuine love for your children.
On November 24, 2015 We will be having a Thanksgiving feast. Each classroom will prepare a dish that will be shared with the group. Parents are welcome to join us. We will eat at 12:00.
WELCOME NEW TEACHERS:
Ms Miranda is a fresh young face you may see in the infant room. She comes with a great education background and is eager to get to know all of your babies.
Ms. Pimporn is our new intermediate teacher. She has a wealth of experience with toddlers and is happy to move to teaching 2 ½ year olds. She has some great ideas.
Be sure to say hello and welcome them.
Infant 1 Ms. Melanie
It is already November and winter is around the corner. Teddy has moved to the Infant 2 classroom and he loves it. Indie loves talking and laughing. Nolan is rolling around to get to toys. Ben loves laughing and reading books, Harlan loves to talk to everyone and smiles all the time. Alice likes looking at the horses and she loves to talk. Ellie is starting to sit up.
This month’s songs are: The more we play together and 10 little turkeys. This month’s signs are: more, friends and please. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.

Welcome to November. Our colors will be brown, yellow and our shape is square. Our sign will be Thank you and we will continue to review and use all signs we have learned so far. Eliza is now crawling everywhere and loving it. Owen is almost ready to take some steps and using a lot of sign language. As they all are. Ezra is walking all over and Rowan walking really well too. Everett has mastered walking and J.D is crawling and pulling himself up on everything. Teddy moved over from infant 1 and as taken right off in our class and is having a great time. We want to welcome Miranda to our school. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Wow, November Already ? Where has this year gone? It has been such a pleasure getting to know your children. This month we will be focusing on Family and Thanksgiving. Remember to check the parent board for special events or things to bring in. Please make sure your child has a coat everyday, so that we can play outside as much as possible.

November brings us the reminder to be thankful. Thankful for our families, the food we get to eat and the friends we make along the way. We would like to welcome a new friend to our class Jeven. I sure hope you have been enjoying the songs your students have (I’m sure) been singing. We will continue singing our way through November and give thanks for all we have.
