March Newsletter
From Lana:
Welcome to March. This is the season when children are so excited to be outside and there is so much to do and see with the changing season.
Staff changes. As most of you know Ms. Moya has been given the opportunity to return to school for her elder caregiver career. She has always loved elder care and is now in the position to excel. We are all happy for her and she often returns to visit or sub for us. Ms. Vie has moved into retirement and is now going to spend more time with her family and will also do some elder care. She too will visit and sub for us. We have been fortunate to have these two in our lives and are happy to continue to see them.
Up to this point, we have kept enrollment low and had limited staff. At this time we are experiencing a growth spurt and have put on new staff. We have opened the new Toddler room with Ms. Nina. The children have settled in and love her. We are also now in need of more assistant teachers. We have hired Brittany, Shelby, and Rose. All have come to us with great recommendations and all embrace our philosophy of No stress, No harshness, and No frustration.

March is fast approaching and so is the season change. We will be reading books on spring and singing some different songs about spring. We will be working on sitting up, rolling over, and grasping for toys. If any of you have books your baby enjoys please feel free to send them to share with their friends.
Infant 2 Paula & Sarah
Welcome to March, this month we will be learning the colors green, and gold. Our sign for the month will be clover. Children are doing well and growing so fast. Prescott is learning to stand on his own, Adrian has mastered walking, and is signing back everything we show him. Sean and Ziggie are moving to the toddler room and are doing great. Dale is now taking a few steps and is pretty happy with herself. Please bring in a family photo for our wall.
Toddler 1A Miranda
Welcome to March. We will be learning about the color green and spring. This month our sign will be Spring along with reviewing our other signs. Spring is right around the corner so please make sure your child has sunscreen here. They love to go outside.

Welcome to March ! Spring time in the Rockies. I am glad to be here and am enjoying getting to know the children. This month we will be talking and learning about spring, animals, St. Patrick ’s Day, plants, flowers and bugs. Our color for the month will be green and our sign will also be green. Please remember to label all your child’s belongings. Have a great month.

Happy March. Time is flying by in the Toddler 2 room. This month we will be focusing on community helpers: doctors firefighters, mail-carriers and police. Like always we are working on letters, numbers, colors and shapes. I am very happy to get to spend time with your children and watch them blossom. Don’t forget to label all your children’s belongings.

March Already!! It always amazes me to see how much these children have grown physically, emotionally and mentally. This month we will focus on our shapes and colors that we see in our everyday life. You can support this by pointing out or asking about the shapes and colors of everyday objects. Please make sure that your child has extra clothes. If you are trying out underwear, please make sure they have at least 5 pairs of extra pants , underwear and socks, also pair of back up shoes.
Preschool Miss Kim & Miss Shelby
February has been a fun month! I have enjoyed getting to know all the kids! We are nicely settled into a routine. We will be learning about and reading Dr. Suess books to celebrate his birthday. On March 2nd we will have a Dr. Suess party in our classroom. Thank you to all our parents who helped and donated stuff to make our Valentine’s Day party a big success. We are excited Ms. Shelby will be joining us as our new assistant.
Pre-K Ms. Pimporn & Erin
February flew by and March is already here. As usual Pre-K is a very busy place and will continue to be for the rest of the school year. We will continue to practice our math and writing skills to be ready for Kindergarten. We will also be discussing the season of spring and the Jewish holiday Purim and St. Patrick’s day. We will also be doing a unit on Dr. Seuss in honor of his birthday. We will have a pajama day and each child will come to school in pajamas and bring a Dr. Seuss book to share.
Happy March and Happy Spring
