March Already?! We are all so happy to see some sunny mild days and the children are sure ready for it.
This month we will be moving the toddler rooms both groups are keeping the same teachers just getting a bigger brighter space.
Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts and questions about Miss Krista. I am happy to say she is doing fine and should return in a few weeks. We would like to welcome Miss Felicia as Lead Teacher in the toddler 1 room. She comes to us with lots of experience and great education. She has bonded with the children and having a great time. We also welcome Miss Taryn, as the assistant in the Toddler 2 room. She is doing great and seems to be a natural with the children. We are very excited to announce the return of Ms. Andrea, most of you will remember Andrea as our super kindergarten teacher from the farm. She is now teaching Preschool and doing a great job. We have all missed her and it is so nice to see her smiling face each day. Feels like family coming home.
We will be starting our recycling program again so feel free to bring aluminum and plastic.
March 7, 2014 6:00—8:00 we will have a fundraiser at Big Fun. Our summer fundraiser was a great success and the families loved it. Please see the flyers posted.
Infants: Ms. Melanie
March is already here, how time flies. Elias is crawling all around the room and emptying all the toys out of the bins. He loves it. Everett is starting to really show his loving personality and showing off his new tooth. Jaxson is starting to roll around and trying to get to the toys Elias provides, Luke has become very verbal and socializes and entertains, he greets everyone who enters the room. This month signs are: Family and Friends. This month’s songs are: 10 little shamrocks and You are my sunshine.
Toddlers: Ms. Mariah, Ms. Felicia, Ms. Taryn, Ms. Vie
This month the Toddlers will be getting used to our new classrooms and we hope spending lots of time outside.
We will work on color rcognition. We will be learning, wearing and doing a craft with a different color each day. We will post the colors we are working on so parents can help reenforce at home. We will continue to work on counting and pointing out basic shapes we see around us. Please remember to dress your child for outdoor play and send the jackets, we hope to be outside as much as we can. It is never to early to send the labeled bottle of sunscreen for your child we are sure hoping for lots of sunshine.
Please send wipes we are running out– we’re a messy bunch!
Preschool: Ms. Andrea
Hi! I am really excited to be back working with your children.
For the month on March we will be working on letter sequencing skills with the ABC grocery store. We will be researching facts about their favorite whales. We will be imitating animal movements for our large motor movement, and we will be having fun with shapes during our shape explorations. Please check your child’s cubby daily for any new additional information.
Remember jackets we love to go outdoors.
