April Newsletter
From Lana
Well, April already and from time to time we are feeling the sunshine of spring. Kids are happy to be outside. Reminder please sends sunscreen with your child labeled with their name. With summer right around the corner, this is a good time to remind you that all vacation time needs to be submitted to me in writing in advance. 2 weeks vacation is available after one year of enrollment.
We continue to welcome new teachers as we hit new enrollment numbers. Ms. Dulce is our new infant teacher. She comes to us with a great education and a heart of gold. Miss Natlie is our newest assistant, she is catching on quickly and the kids love her.
REMINDER; April 21, 2017, is a staff training day. This is a paid tuition day.
Now is the time to let us know if your children will be here for the summer. We are enrolling a few older children for summer day camp so please let us know soon.

April in Colorado is invigorating! Trees are budding, the grass is growing and we feel renewed. This month we will be learning about farm life, farmers, animals, planting and we will throw in a week of Easter with bunnies, ducks, and chicks! Our shape of the month will be oval for Easter eggs and our color will be yellow. Signs will be farm, egg, cow and corn. Have a great April!

April is here already! The theme of the month is Spring with a focus on planting. We will be planting seeds and tracking their growth. We are also talking about what plants need to grow. If you have any seeds that we can plant, please bring them in. Please check your child’s extra clothes because much like the plants, these kids are growing fast.

It’s hard to believe that April and spring are here already. We are loving being outside more! Ask your child about our carrot garden we are growing seeds in science. The kids have really enjoyed watching them grow! This month we will be learning about spring, bugs, how things grow, spring animals, and colors of spring. Next week we will be doing a lot of fun Easter activities, like coloring eggs and hiding them. We will continue to focus on learning our shapes and names.
