November Newsletter
From Lana
I need to start this month with an apology for the lateness of this newsletter. I know you are all aware that I have not been in the center much the past three weeks. I would like to thank everyone who sent love and prayers my way through this difficult time. All your good energy helped me greatly.
Looks like the teachers have taken the lead and planned great units and activities for the month. We will be talking about families and things we are thankful for.
November 18th we will be having group and individual photos taken. If you are interested in a group photo you will need to return the envelope by Friday. Sorry for the short notice but we want to be sure we can get photos back by Christmas.
November 28 and 29th We will be closed for Thanksgiving holiday. These are paid tuition days.
November 26th 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Thanksgiving Celebration. We have much to be thankful for and the parent group who helped us bring this building to life is a big part of it. Come and be appreciated.
From Melanie (Infants)
The Infant room is finally open. This month we will be learning our the primary colors and continue with our sign language. We look forward to art projects and learning through play. All the babies have adjusted nicely and we are enjoying our days together.
Signs for the month are: more, please, and thank you.
Songs for the month are: The wheels on the bus, Twinkle, Twinkle little star and Old McDonald had a farm.
From Krista (Toddlers)
WOW! I can’t believe it is November already. We are working on learning a song for our Thanksgiving Celebration on the 26th. Our theme for November is “ All about me and my family”. We will be sending home a couple of family activities. Please bring a family photo that we can use for an art project. It is so rewarding watching your children change and grow every day. Thank you all for blessing us with your children.
From Ms. Moya (Primary)
This month we are getting used to our new classroom. We are learning about family and being thankful. Please remember to bring jackets everyday and check your cubbies. And since we are working on potty training don’t forget to make sure there are plenty of spare clothes, things happen.
From Mariah (Preschool)
This month we are learning about family and being thankful. We will continue working on our letter sounds, numbers, sight words, letters, and our calendar. Please bring a picture of your family to use in the classroom. Also remember to bring a jacket or coat everyday because while the weather is still nice we would like to go outside.
We will have our pudding party on December 2nd.
Thank you for being great parents. I love spending the day with your amazing children.
