Well another month has flown by. The kids are having a great time with the warmer weather they are outside and in the water every day.

A few reminders:

• Since summer is here our enrollment is sometimes high and sometimes low. Even though we are having summer fun I am still very careful to see that we have plenty of staff to ensure the children’s safety.   PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL BE TAKING VACATION TIME. As you know you are able to take 2 weeks per year with no charge. These dates must be given to me in writing at least 2 weeks in advance. Teachers are not expected to give me messages, since their only responsibility is to the children.   You can send me a note or email me but please see that it gets to me and not the teachers.
• REMINDER   All Tuition and parent fees are due in advance of attendance, unless you have made other arrangements with me.
• Please remember to sign your child in and out each day WITH YOUR FULL SIGNATURE. Since this serves as a legal document it is required by law.

Happy Fourth of July! Summer is finally here. Everett is really getting around the room now and loving it. Theodore loves rolling around and sitting up with his friends. J.D. loves talking to all his friends, he is a very social guy. Lynsey enjoys being able to roll and reach for toys. We are welcoming Ellie to our classroom she is doing great. Our songs are You are my Sunshine and The More we Play Together. Our signs for the month are Sun and Friends

Infant 2   Ms. Paula

Welcome to July. This month our colors will be red, white and blue, the shape will be a star. We are working hard on sign language, this month’s sign will be star. Angelo has been visiting the toddler room and having a great time. Zadie is now walking and very busy. Cassie is starting to stand all by herself and growing every day.   Rowan has figured out how to crawl and stack blocks. Ezra is now enjoying table food and crawling all over. Alijah is working on crawling.   Wow hard to believe all the babies are moving by themselves. We are a busy group in here. Parents please remember to check the cubbies every day

Toddlers Ms Francine and Ms. Vie

Welcome July. The children had great time learning about the sea and the wonderful creatures that live there. In July we will have many outdoor activities planned as well as lots of water play, so don’t forget to send extra clothes swim suits and sunscreen.   Our colors for the month are Red, white and blue.

Intermediates Ms Vella

July already?? Wow.   This month we will be talking about sun safety and how important it is to wear sunscreen. We will be doing a unit on picnics and summer fun. We will plan to picnic in the classroom or outdoors as much as we can.

We are welcoming a new fish, and the children are really enjoying it. His name is Drizle Styles.

Is 2015 Really half over already? I have seen these children grow in so many ways this year. The children are really enjoying all the water play, and had a blast with our camping unit last month. Please check out our bulletin board above the cubbies for special events, like show and tell. Have a safe and fun summer.

Day Campers   Ms. Andrea

July looks like a fun and busy month. We will be doing tie dye, chalk in the parking lot, and science with Mr. Shawn, a trip to Beau Joes for pizza and lots of other fun stuff. The kids are loving the Spanish lessons on Monday. Please keep an eye on the board and check your calendar for events. If you are late and have to drop your child off at the park with us don’t forget to sunscreen and water bottle.
